Pipeline Construction


alternative text Power Infra Team is experienced in carrying out pipeline construction works right from route finalization, obtaining approvals from statutory authorities, road and channel crossings by HDD method, pipe laying in all type of terrains including desert, salty land, rocky and inside the city sections as well.

Power Infra can mobilize a fleet of equipment at short notice for the pipeline construction works including side booms, cranes, line up clamps, bending equipment, welding and coating equipment, excavators, dozers, Graders, test cabins, pumps and drying equipment etc.

Pipes and fittings such as bends, isolating joints, barred tees and valves are sourced from reputed mills with stringent quality control checks and within the agreed time schedule.

Highly skilled and experienced welders suitable for pipeline jobs are readily available to be deployed at short notice.

Process Plant Construction


alternative text Power Infra has the necessary expertise to construct and commission process plants such as Petrochemical Plants, Storage Terminals and Gas Gathering Stations etc.

We take up both new plant construction as well as modifications/expansions of existing plants. Also Shut Down type projects are taken up in order to ensure quick turnaround of the facility.

All disciplines are covered in house including Earth Work, Concrete Foundations, Installation of Process Equipment, Interconnecting Piping, Pipe Racks, Control Rooms, Electrical Equipment, Cable laying and terminations, Instrument installation and hook ups etc.

Piping Fabrication and Installation


alternative text Power Infra has a strong team for carrying out Piping fabrication and erection including experienced Piping Engineers, Supervisors, Fabricators, Welders, Riggers and Helpers. Also has a fleet of Welding Equipment, Cranes and other supporting equipment.

We have the necessary experience to handle all type of materials such as Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex / Super Duplex Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel etc.

Welding Procedures and Welders for all the type of materials are already pre-qualified and to deoy. In case, Customers expect project specific qualifications, same can be arranged as well.

While we maintain a capacity of up to 10,000 inch dia per month, we can mobilise additional resources at short notice.

Structural Steel Fabrication and Installation


alternative text Power Infra has handled Structural Steel Projects involving Pipe Racks, Platforms, Equipment and Pipe Supports and Frames, Ware Houses and Buildings etc.

Structural Steel drawings are detailed in Auto Cad and the load calculations are prepared using Staad Pro Software.

We use well established fabshop with automated machines such as CNC Plasma Cutting, CNC Beam Profile Cutting, CNC Drilling, SAW Welding and GMAW Welding etc.

Galvanizing is arranged from client approved sources and the painting is done in house. We have a capacity to take up Structural Steel Works up to 500 ton per month.

Civil Works


alternative text We do the civil Works that are associated with our core business of pipelines and process plants such as Equipment Foundations, Boundary wall, Pipeline corridor fencing, Control Rooms, Substations, In Plant Road Works and Paving etc.

Architecture and Structural drawings are prepared and approvals from Town Planning Department are obtained where building construction is involved.

Plot plans are finalized taking into consideration other disciplines such as Equipment and Piping Layout. Precasted foundations are preferred wherever possible. In situ foundations are arranged where specified and where Precast foundations would not be feasible.

Concrete is arranged from approved ready-mix plants after successful trial mix tests including 28day compressive strength test. All the quality control checks are carried stagewise to ensure desired quality for the concrete.

Electrical and Instrumentation

Process Equipment and Skid Manufacturing


alternative text Power Infra also has a separate division for design and manufacture of some of the key process equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Oil and Water Bath Heaters, Shell and Tube Type Heat Exchangers, Metering and Pressure Reducing Skids, H2S Scrubber Skids, Filtration Equipment, Pig Launchers and Receivers etc.

We have tied up with some of the highly reputed international brands for the technology support. We carry out detailed mechanical and thermal design of the process equipment using ASME Sec VIII and TEMA Standards. Process parameters specified by Customers will be incorporated in to our design.

We use ASME certified shops for manufacture of Pressure Vessels. Material with NACE Compliance will be procured from approved Mills. Quality checks will be implemented at every critical stage of production. ASME or TPI Certification will be arranged as per the order requirements.

Hot Tapping


alternative text One of the area where we have developed strong expertise is hot tapping. We provide complete solution for hot tapping including arranging the hot tap / stopple fitting (split tee type with Lock O Ring Plug), Welding the fitting on to the live pipelines and carrying put perforation.

We work on both piggable pipelines and non piggable piping. We work with stringent API and Shell DEP standards. We will prepare a design package for each hot tap connection that will detail the calculations to determine the minimum wall thickness required, line pressure / flow rate required at the time of Welding and perforation.

We have the necessary Welding Procedures which are pre-qualified under stringent simulating conditions suitable for welding on live pipelines. Also the welders are specially trained and certified for welding of the hot tap fittings on live pipelines.
